About us

Who we are

We are a union that goes by the name NAU Canada which can also be referred as “Nkwerre Aborigines Union-Canada".

We, the sons and daughters of Nkwerre, resident in Canada, having realized the needs to:
a) Foster unity amongst ourselves
b) Contribute to the development of our fatherland, Nkwerre
c) Help each other in Canada

We hereby accept the responsibility of providing the opportunities for these goals within the framework of the Nkwerre Aborigines Union. These goals shall be maintained providing that they do not impinge upon the rights of any individual or group of individuals..

Our approach

Our Mission
We wish to ensure the best interest of all the members of the Union by giving everyone the chance to grow through active participation in the social and cultural activities of the Union

Whether it is ressurance, financial help, education, professional training, or simply the assurance that they are not alone, we will make sure that everyone gets support as soon as possible.

Our Vision
We wish to develop cultural activities and programs to ensure that our cultural heritage is preserved and enhanced

Our entire community wants to see a world where  we can celebrate our cultural heritage in every region so we’ll be reachable to all while still preserving culture.

Our numbers speak for themselves

Even with our small community, our numbers push us to give our best so that we go on to break our own records. We are happy to be growing and helping more day by day.
